Android Beta release native app
What is a Beta release app?
A beta phase in software development generally begins when the software is feature complete but likely to contain a number of known or unknown bugs. Software in the beta phase will generally have many more bugs in it than completed software, along with speed or performance issues, and may still cause crashes or data loss. The focus of beta testing is reducing impacts to users, often incorporating usability testing. The process of delivering a beta version to the users is called beta release and is typically the first time that the software is available outside of the organisation that developed it. Beta version software is often useful for demonstrations and previews to prospective customers.
Why release a Beta version of the app?
Beta testing is a process wherby users actively report issues of the beta software/app. By releasing a beta version, we are able to launch to market quicker with a minimum viable product (MVP) and allow users to provide feedback that will ultimately shape the final version of the app. Our goal is to perfect our final release for the app store.
APK installation
The initial Beta release of the flyhtz App is being distributed for the Android operating system outside of the Google Play Store. In order to install this version of the app on your Android device, you must allow installation of apps from unknown sources. This has been done with the sole purpose of gaining real world testing and feedback, before releasing the final release version of the app to the app store. An iOS native app is also planned in the future.
